I hate working out and I really like to eat!
Unfortunately that does not create fitness success. I am married with 2 kids. I worked many years as a night shift nurse in the Neonatal ICU. I used to struggle with fitness, poor body image and finding motivation to focus on myself. I have scoliosis and needed a spinal fusion when I was 13 years old. At the bottom on my fusion I have degenerative disk disease. I now suffer from chronic back pain. When I put on weight it makes the pain worse. I gained over 50 pounds with both of my pregnancies and got stuck in bad habits. Then after having 2 kids I had no core strength at all, was unmotivated, overweight, tired and cranky! I wasn't the mother, wife or friend I wanted to be. Yet the more I would think about where I wanted to be the more overwhelmed I felt. I was tired of trying and failing. I was also afraid of exercise causing more back pain. A friend told me about Shakeology and the 21 Day Fix program. I watched the info and with disbelief I ordered it! Since I was always a quitter I figured this would be good for me. I had no idea where to start so I thought that a program that was only 3 weeks, that seemed clear and concise would be perfect for me. I promised myself that I would follow the meal plan by the book for 21 days. I did and it changed my life. In about 4 months I lost 30 pounds and went from a size 14 to a size 6. I have maintained this loss for over a year and I have more energy and confidence then I had in my entire life! I also can confidently say that I feel like I am the mother and role model I have always wanted to be! After having such an amazing transformation many people started asking me what I was doing - I was thrilled to share what I did and I continue to enjoy motivating others to make healthy choices to become the best version of themselves. I became a coach so that I can continue to help people like myself. I personally know how being fit is not easy. And it certainly is not fun doing it alone! Let's get fit together!
